In Jyutping romanisation it's "saang1 coi3 baau1". I'm less familiar with Yale but must be "saang1 choi3 baau1". In borrowings form Cantonese, especially old one, standards were rarely used and sounds were rendered phonetically. This one is particularly interesting because except for "sung choy bau" no one form is significantly more popular than the next most popular. Usually one or a small number clearly stand out by one or more orders of magnitude. — hippietrail (talk) 05:56, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
