Just anecdotal, but I reckon this is a coordinate term of 大觸/觸 (which I have seen in common usage). Both 大觸 and 觸手 are attested + briefly explained here for instance, though it seems much harder to pin down published usage examples on the internet that explicitly uses 觸手 in this sense. — Musetta6729 (talk) 15:24, 5 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
