@Justinrleung, thanks for taking my edit forward...but somehow I'm wondering if it could be taken another step, to explicitly show the POJ with double hyphen, indicating: (a) following syllable should be pronounced in the neutral tone, (b) preceding syllable does not undergo tone sandhi. Also, is "toneless" referring to lack of tone marking in pinyin or a synonym with neutral tone (or neutralization of tone)? Thank you. Hongthay (talk) 07:41, 29 September 2016 (UTC)

@Hongthay, sorry for getting back so late. "Toneless" refers to the neutral tone (qingsheng) as far as I know. Now for the double hyphen, I'm not very sure about that. I only see that in the example in THCWD. I don't know, but TDJ also has kè--khì as an entry with examples: [1]. I'm thinking we should include kè--khì explicitly but with all the dialects it may appear messy. I think that's my main concern. Hongthay (talk) 07:05, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
