@沈澄心: It seems to come from CC-CEDICT, which defines it as "electric shock, electroshock". Guoyu Cidian defines it as "電力系統突然發生變動，導致電壓、頻率不穩，稱為「電震」。", which doesn't seem to match our current definition. — justin(r)leung _{{ (t...) | c=› }} 06:07, 27 May 2021 (UTC)

@沈澄心: It also appears in many dictionaries here. Also used in 電震治療 "electric shock treatment" (which seems to have some hits) in this glossary. Perhaps this would help us find some quotes? — justin(r)leung _{{ (t...) | c=› }} 21:44, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
