Non-past form is lacking

[edit]

Hi, non-past forms, in this case يَكْتُبُ‎, is an indispensable piece of info. necessary to conjugate verbs, so it should be added in the root entries. Is there an automatic way to do so? Thank you in advance. Backinstadiums (talk) 19:11, 23 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Backinstadiums: The list of verb forms is generated by {{ar-verb forms}} and Module:ar-verb. (That module also generates the conjugation table for {{ar-conj}} and the headword for {{ar-verb}}.) I like the idea of the non-past being shown on root pages, and in the conjugation tables. It would be pretty easy to add it, but you'll have to post on the module talk page and find out if others agree. — Eru·tuon 20:57, 23 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
Eru I've already posted it there, yet nobody seems to reply. Backinstadiums (talk) 14:09, 24 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

كَتِيبَة ‎(katība, “squadron”)

[edit]

Hi, I'm just curious about the etymology of كَتِيبَة ‎. Was it really formed out of the same root as 'to write', k-t-b? It'd be clarifying to add some note stating so. Thanx in advance. Backinstadiums (talk) 14:12, 24 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
