Does anyone know any words with the suffix -ion on the end of them? I am stumped. 65.103.142.98 22:05, 15 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Debatable, dubious. If you mean "formed in Modern English" (post 1470) then I can't think of one either. I think you could make a case for -ation, -tion and -sion, but this would be much much harder. Mglovesfun (talk) 22:07, 15 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
@65.103.142.98, Mglovesfun: tellurion was made with -ion instead of -ian, and tellurian is even its synonym! I just happened to have been poking around those pages after seeing one listed on Pages that link to "Template:ref" just now. Belatedly yours, Geekdiva (talk) 12:14, 12 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

/(j)ən/

[edit]

Accoring to the LPD, its pronuncaitions are /jən/ and /ən/. JMGN (talk) 16:26, 10 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
