- Well , its possible that prodigious does not contain an -i- morpheme .... it's not possible to break out an -i- segment from the original word prodigy. i dont know if word coinages like this are sensitive to 2000 yr old etymologies, though. perhaps another example can be found. —Soap— 16:03, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
