- I wouid interpret this as some random African person adding an entry for their own name. The etymology was added by the block-evading sock of an arrogantly overconfident and incompetent New Yorker who knows next to nothing about Arabic or whatever language this is from. - My interpretation is that his given name is Bassirou; after all, he wrote that both on his user talk page and above the headword template on the Afbachir entry itself. Maybe that's an Islamic name related to الْبَصِيرُ (al-baṣīru, “the All-Seeing”), one of the names of God in Islam. As for Afbachir itself, I still can't find a shred of evidence that it exists outside of Wiktionary. 70.172.194.25 05:47, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
