I wouid interpret this as some random African person adding an entry for their own name. The etymology was added by the block-evading sock of an arrogantly overconfident and incompetent New Yorker who knows next to nothing about Arabic or whatever language this is from. My interpretation is that his given name is Bassirou; after all, he wrote that both on his user talk page and above the headword template on the Afbachir entry itself. Maybe that's an Islamic name related to الْبَصِيرُ‎ (al-baṣīru, the All-Seeing), one of the names of God in Islam. As for Afbachir itself, I still can't find a shred of evidence that it exists outside of Wiktionary. 70.172.194.25 05:47, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
