Is there Hinduist?[edit]

I am wondering, alternatively to calling a practicer of Hinduism 'Hindu', would they ever be called a Hinduist? For example, Buddhism>Buddhist and Satanism>Satanist. The translation of m>t for the faith and followers seems pretty established for -ism to -ist yet we have no entry here. Should this non-standardness be identified? No OneLook Dictionary has the term, but it does seem to be in use. The most common sense seems to be as synonym of Hindu as noun and adjective. There is some more recent usage that is more political, parallel to such usage of Islamist. DCDuring TALK 15:23, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
