Racial slur vs. ethnic slur[edit]

Is the noun really a racial slur and the adjective really an ethnic one? It seems like they should either both be racial slurs or both ethnic ones. —RuakhTALK 19:19, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

Is this really exclusively offensive? It's just a shorter word from where I stand, like "Brit". Should it not say "potentially offensive" or "often offensive"?LaFoiblesse 18:02, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

See [1]. Was just a shortening, and isn't quite always used pejoratively of course, these things often vary with context. Robert Ullmann 18:34, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
