Offensive or not: arriving at NPOV descriptive and avoiding POV prescriptive

[edit]

See its etymology: the Moors. See the Times article I have just quoted, quoting both sides, and also here: https://sjp.pwn.pl/poradnia/haslo/Klopotliwy-Murzyn;17473.html (from 2017) that it has different meaning to "nigger".

English wiktionary is not a place for a prescriptive euphemism treadmill, especially in other languages. Zezen (talk) 10:45, 10 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

See also the balanced usage notes about a related term here: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%D0%BD%D0%B5%D0%B3%D1%80#Russian descriptively (thus NPOV) showing their internal (Russian culture) euphemism treadmill, back and forth, which is even more interesting.
