- Of, from, or pertaining to Nazara, the Nazarene community or the Nazarene dialect.
Proper noun[edit]
- A person from Nazar or of Nazarene descent.
Supposed to be "a person from Nazar". I think it is 1) someone from Nazareth 2) Jesus Christ 3) An American version of "Methodist". Greek etymology should, I think, be more like "Nararenos". Anyone know for sure? SemperBlotto¦Talk 22:19, 22 October 2005 (UTC)

- I rewrote most of the article, adding the 'Nazareth' and 'Jesus' senses in. (I don't know whether 'Nazar' / 'Nazara' are meant to be the same place, or something different, e.g. Nazar; so I left them as they were but with rfv-sense).
