Possible missing sense: a beating?[edit]

John Camden Hotten's Slang Dictionary (1873) says: "To give a man a baker's dozen, in a slang sense, sometimes means to give him an extra good beating or pummelling." Equinox 23:47, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
