Tagalog or Cebuano?[edit]

@Carl Francis This word is really native to Tagalog, while Cebuano has its own terms based on dialect: maribago and malabago. Is this also a Cebuano word for the same species? -TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 04:14, 7 July 2018 (UTC) @TagaSanPedroAko This isn't a case of bignay/bugnay if that is what you are after. I'm not after cognates, such as Tagalog bignay and Cebuano bugnay (also the same in Ilocano, Bicolano, etc.). I am adding a vast number of Tagalog plant and animal names that haven't been covered here. The word in question is really Tagalog. Cebuano has its own words for the species, which I already mentioned.-TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 04:23, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
