@Gamren, could you please add IPA here? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 19:41, 19 December 2017 (UTC)

- @Gamren: That's unfortunate, as I don't know who else here is good for Danish requests. Know any IPA-proficient Danes I could ping? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 15:48, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Metaknowledge You could ask ContraVentum or Maunus. Schwa dk seems to be inactive, but you could try anyway. My trouble is with the second vowel: it is indicated as [ε] in DDO, and in Nudansk Ordbog's idiosyncratic notation the same symbol is used as in kæle and tælle; to me, however, it's more like an [æ], and while I am quite sure it is not [ε] for me, I am less sure what it is instead; basically, I think it has something to do with the /r/ influencing the vowel, making it very slightly different from the vowel in e.g. hage; DDO also uses [ε] for træne. It might be related the kræft-kraft merger, which happened for my generation (I'm born in '98) but not for older people (google "kraft kræft udtale" (without quotation marks) to find old people complaining about the "vulgarization" and "impoverishment" of the Danish language). This uncertainty is why I usually don't add pronunciations, leaving it for the more qualified. But apart from this, I would just write it as [b̥eˈɡ̊ʁ?ːˀb̥sfʌˌviɐ̯ˀiŋ].__Gamren (talk) 16:35, 12 February 2018 (UTC)

- I would write [b̥eˈɡ̊ʁæˀb̥sfʌˌviɐ̯ˀeŋ], which certainly isn't completely wrong. I don't think anyone pronounces this with ε, which is usually colored to æ after r.--Maunus (talk) 09:06, 13 February 2018 (UTC)
