Bingo term?

Bingo (American version) says that a "falsie" or "bongo" is the mistaken calling of a bingo. Hard to find citations in books that aren't just citing Wikipedia, though I did spot this "mentiony" one:

  After a student wins the bingo game, check the card to verify that the answers are correct. If it is, tell students to clear their cards for a new game. If it isn't correct, call it a “bongo” and continue the game.
