The etymology does not explain where the "manager" comes into it. Presumably because the mentioned "meme" is something racist suggesting that white women are bad-tempered (like Karens)? Equinox ◑ 02:27, 11 June 2022 (UTC)

The meme is a reference to the stereotypical depiction of entitled "Karen"-types demanding to speak to the manager when low-ranking retail or service-industry workers cannot satisfy their requests. Should this information be included in the etymology? I suppose that comes down to a question of how detailed one would prefer etymology sections to be in explaining the origin of memes and their intended humour. I've taken the detailed approach when I judged a meme to be cryptic or obscure (e.g. duckroll), but I think the concept of "Karens" has reached a broader level of cultural saturation, and that a link to the Wikipedia article might be sufficient.
