Does centi mean 100 or 100th?

Yes. Nevertheless, the word does mean what we state here, as you can find out by searching Google Books. Sometimes language is a bit illogical. People just know cent means something like "hundred", as in centipede. Equinox ◑ 18:58, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
