Usage notes[edit]

  • Like its terser cousin (deprecated template usage) e-, (deprecated template usage) cyber- experienced a burst of popularity in the early days of the World Wide Web, when it conveyed modernity and technology. Most of the early flurry of coinages did not survive after the Web became more familiar and everyday.
