@Morgengave The English word for "onomatopee" is spelt onomatopoeia. But I was curious whether this is like an i-a duplication (like zigzag, mikmak) based on jingle and which syllable is stressed (my guess would be the penultimate). ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 17:47, 26 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Lingo Bingo Dingo I am not sure whether this word is a native reduplication of djingel or a direct borrowing of English jingle jangle (where is then would be such a reduplication). In any case, you are right on the stress. Morgengave (talk) 20:37, 26 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
