Issue with Diksiyonaryo and UP Diksiyonaryong Filipino

[edit]

@Ysrael214 So this issue goes back to the fact that both dictionaries are not Filipino/Tagalog dictionaries per se, but a collection of all the words found in the Philippines. That's why it has words like "where", "because", "at", "but", etc. So for this one, looking at UP Diksiyonaryong Filipino, and the overall consistency of Spanish words in Tagalog, I think we should stick with "pilibusterismo" and "pilibustero". In UP Diksiyonaryong Filipino anyway, the main entry is in the "P" versions. Mar vin kaiser (talk) 08:58, 31 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Mar vin kaiser I looked at http://kwfdiksiyonaryo.ph as well so I'm not sure it's just because it's an amalgamation of different words in the Philippines. I'm only guessing but I think the novel El Filibusterismo could be a reason why they kept the spelling as is. But feel free to move it to pilibusterismo for consistency.
