I live in the Northeast as well. I've only ever heard anyone say "Gyaet" or "Gyaht". No idea where the aɪ̯ is coming from. EytanMelech (talk) 13:26, 18 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Due to unknown influence, I pronounce it as /ɡyæt/, although due to Generation Alpha usage, I do not use this outside of linguistic contexts. Chuterix (talk) 21:09, 22 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
actually /gjæt/; I mistyped the ipa glide Chuterix (talk) 21:10, 22 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Text-to-speech pronounces it as /ˈgaɪ̯.æt/, and with the abundance of AI videos on TikTok and other platforms, this pronunciation has become fairly common. .pixiedzt (talk) 09:18, 10 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Although I've only ever seen this used when 'gyatt' is being used as a noun (especially when it's plural), never when 'gyatt' is used as an interjection. .pixiedzt (talk) 09:29, 10 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Drogobo I've heard this as well and added it, and it seems fairly common per [1]. However, I'm pretty sure that this is a spelling pronunciation that is considered incorrect. Ioaxxere (talk) 21:11, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
