I can see a difference, in that I can see the distinction the author of the definitions is trying to make. However, I'm not sure such a distinction is ever made in the usage of the word. Unfortunately, my botanical experience is more in field biology, morphology and systematics, rather than in thremmatology. --EncycloPetey 22:50, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
