This is not only eye dialect (i.e. a literary device indicating a "folksy" or "colourful" delivery, but not reflected in any actual pronunciation): It is, in fact, a pronounced regional variant of "isn't", It's more common in southern U.S. states, but is known to reach into Wyoming, Oregon, Pennsylvania. I don't know what exactly you need to consider this "documented", but this entry needs to be changed to reflect that this is an actual pronunciation variation, and not simply the literary affectation.
