This word was invented by the video game industry in the 90s. Try to find it in a print dictionary before 1990, it's not there.

Check your facts before making assumptions like this: Published in 1983 JamesjiaoTC 22:09, 16 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

I didn't say it wasn't in any book. I said it wasn't in any dictionary. I have a few older print dictionaries and they do not have this word.

... and you made the assumption that it was invented by the vg industry in the 90s which I proved otherwise.. so... where is your argument exactly? JamesjiaoTC 22:20, 16 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Neh, that was a misusage; if it even is a word today, it's invented by the video game industry. It's something that probably ought to be a word, but isn't.

So it's a misusage because you claim it so? Firstly how is it a misusage? - now there are many examples of the word's usage pre-1990; what I gave you is simply one of many - do a search on google books first maybe. Secondly we support descriptivism here, not prescriptivism. Just because you think it's wrong doesn't mean it shouldn't be used widely by millions of others. If it's used, then it's included (and doesn't mean it's wrong, because I think it's right. ) JamesjiaoTC 02:11, 17 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
