Is the definition adequate? If a woman is overtly and deliberately misogynistic, is that "internalized"? Equinox 23:38, 20 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Pretty sure "internalized misogyny" is unconscious and subtle. It's not questioning the fact you did poorly at math in school or are paid less than your male co-workers because you've internalized negative stereotypes about women (women are bad at math, women aren't as ambitious as men, etc.) to the extent it effects your perception of yourself and the world. Whereas a woman consciously and openly espousing sexist views wouldn't be exhibiting internalized misogyny. -Cloudcuckoolander (talk) 07:45, 16 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
