To me, the above definition seems strange. I've certainly never heard it used in the above sense anywhere. The most ordinary encounter with the word 'jööti' is in the old colloquial expression "pitää jöötiä", which means "to maintain discipline/order". 88.114.242.6 21:26, 6 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, sir, but the expression you are after is pitää jöötä. Nykysuomen Sanakirja (NSK) has an entry for jöö, if you want to check. NSK does not recognize jööti, as it is a slang word, but these two examples are from Urbaani sanakirja [1]:
  • Mun on ny kyl pakko mennä vääntää jööti = I need to go to shit.
  • Laitoitpa hirveen jöötin hammastahnaa harjalles. = You put a huge amount of toothpaste on your brush.

I've usually seen the nominativ as jöötti. --Tropylium 13:17, 14 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps there are regional differences. A simple Google search returns 35.000 hits for jööti and 6.500 hits for jöötti. That's about 6 to 1 for jööti. --Hekaheka 14:21, 14 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
