Missing aircraft-related sense?[edit]

Apparently also a verb for flying a (combat) plane in an erratic manner to dodge incoming fire etc. Sometimes "jink and jank", or "jink when one should jank" etc. (Compare zig when one should zag.) Might be just about CFI-attestable. Mentioned in Jonathon Green's slang dictionary Newspeak (published 1984). Equinox 19:47, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly stupid more general definition[edit]

I've heard "Jank" also be used for bugs, particularly visual bugs that look goofy and/or weird. So that's probably a definition that's missing. Lubaf (talk) 16:17, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
