This is sum-of-parts: karteri (genitive of karter, "crank case") + õhutussüsteem "ventilation system". I'm not even quite sure of the definition given, but there are other combinations on Google such as 'kütusepaagi õhutussüsteem' "fuel tank ventilation system" which are formed the same way. —CodeCat 23:32, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
