The Arabic form seems to be a feminine nisba of مَأْمُون‎ (maʔmūn), which is a personal name, and also a passive participle of a verb relating to trust. However, I do not know how it was derived. 70.172.194.25 17:42, 29 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
