ΨDoes anyone have any proof that Perry de Havilland really did coin this term?

Perhaps you are thinking of Mike Royko calling Jerry Brown “Governor Moonbeam” in the late '70s. I have not found a 20th century political use of moonbat, however. ~ Röbin Liönheart (talk) 22:53, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
