Not reliable actually, plenty of Sino-Vietnamese words that are never used in spoken language and limited at best in written language are abundantly listed in these kinds of dictionaries. Compilers in Vietnam very often forget (or maybe just not aware) that Chinese ≠ Vietnamese so they just throw a bunch of Chinese words with Sino-Vietnamese reading into their dictionaries.
