There's no /θ/ in Fox, though I believe there is in some dialects of Kickapoo, which this word must be from. Goddard and Thomason 2014 have nemêsa (with archaic variant namêsa).

This form is in Gordon Whittaker's Concise Dictionary of the Sauk Language. I don't immediately recall what work I checked the Fox and Kickapoo spellings against. You are correct that -êsa is a Fox form; I'll remove "Fox" from the context label. - -sche (discuss) 22:20, 4 September 2016 (UTC)
