To have no common sense; to be ignorant of the most basic facts; to be very confused.

This is just not + know which end is up (to possess sound judgment or common sense; to have a clear understanding of a situation). We don’t usually have entries for these kinds of negative constructions, since they’re plainly SOP. Theknightwho (talk) 20:48, 6 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
