Missing sense?[edit]
Webster 1913 has "The pods of the plant okra, used as a vegetable; also, a dish prepared with them; gumbo." Our entry doesn't suggest that okra can be a synonym for gumbo (the dish). I haven't looked into trying to attest this. Equinox ◑ 21:41, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
