Possible missing sense[edit]

Hobson-Jobson says the word was also used in South India for "the finch-lark, Pyrrhalauda grisea, Scopoli", which appears to be the modern ashy-crowned sparrow-lark (Eremopterix griseus). Couldn't find this in a glance through Google Books though. Equinox 16:43, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
