More crap from -pedia. SemperBlotto 18:53, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, it seems pretty idiomatic. --Connel MacKenzie T C 19:52, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So, could we have a definition from someone please - and formatted would be nice. SemperBlotto 21:20, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is a Swedish idiomatic expression slå näven i bordet "strike the fist in the table" which means that your patience have run out and now you demand what feel you are entitled to. Perhaps the expressions are related. I have never heard the English expression before though. --Patrik Stridvall 21:44, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted per lack of plausible content. Has had over a month time. —Vildricianus 15:02, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

Restored, as it clearly had plenty of support (which is precisely why it was still here.) It had been "cleaned" to the original nominator's satisfaction, apparently. --Connel MacKenzie T C 04:07, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removed rfd tag. Andrew massyn 18:17, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
