The usage notes are incorrect. see:

vs:

   http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22production+values%22


...This may not be "proof" -- but it is strong evidence for the fact that the plural form is far less common.

This phrase is increasingly being used incorrectly, deviating from the original sense once common in the publishing, advertising, and film production industries. The term "values" is NOT referring to "value" in the sense of values -- "a collection of guiding principles" or "mores."

Of your two links, the plural has twice as many results. And we're not laying down rules about what is "correct" but documenting the language as it's actually used. Equinox 20:58, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
