How is this a word? I would class this as "management-speak mumbo-jumbo". --Surturz 06:19, 26 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

There are plenty of book authors who think it's a word. ([1]). Rod (A. Smith) 03:56, 27 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
I agree with the new user: the "management-speak" is deliberatly improper, in an attempt to jar listeners into attentiveness. --Connel MacKenzie T C 04:06, 27 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Looking at the list of books in that external link you have provided has proved, to me anyway, that this non-word is definitely management-speak-mumbo-jumbo :-) --Surturz 03:15, 28 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
It might be seen as manager-speak and not (yet) an officially accepted word, but this is how new words are created.
It is not only the youth who can come up with new words.
If it is used that often shows that there is clearly a need for a term like that to summarize a specific process / workflow.
It will be just a matter of time till this is accepted official. This happens all the time.
Not every word needs to have its origin in Latin or Sanskrit in order to be accepted as a proper word.
If enough people use it and the majority knows what it means without looking it up in a dictionary ... it is/becomes a proper word if some people like it or not. There are plenty examples for this. 46.114.131.152 13:18, 6 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
