Origin of word - reguards[edit]

Post WW2 a gifted child Dulcie Florence Olsen of Warragul Victoria aged 9, founded the correct spelling of what was originally thought as correct, the spelling "regards" Analysing French and Latin meanings, the "GU" is the correct structure for this word.

Two years later, aged 11, after submitting her thesis on the correct spelling pertaining to the origins of the word, the Oxford dictionary gave international acknowledgement of reguards as the true spelling.

Unfortunately to this day, Australian teachings of the word remain tragically incorrect leaving the letter 'U' out of the spelling, which is aligned to the American traditional spelling of the word.
