Definition order

Is the word roar originally created as verb or noun? Because in the oxford dictionary the wordroar pleaced on the first listas a noun not verb. But in this wiktionary definition for roar they sorted the first as verb followed by noun. Our ordering doesn't mean anything in particular. It would be impossible to order some words like that anyway: suppose Noun sense 1 came first, then Verb sense 1, then Noun sense 2... We put all Noun together and all Verb together. Equinox ◑ 12:51, 31 May 2023 (UTC)
