About the graphic part of the definition
[edit]Although the Berlin interpretation requires roguelikes to have ASCII display, it is no longer the case in today's usage of this term. Jupyter Hell, for example, is regarded as a roguelike, despite having fancy graphics. Oswald galen (talk) 02:18, 25 March 2023 (UTC)
- I find basically zero Google hits for "Jupyter Hell" roguelike. Where's the evidence? Equinox ◑ 02:21, 25 March 2023 (UTC)
- Oh, sorry, it should be "Jupiter Hell". Now I think about it, the current wiki definition does make a lot of sense, by defining it as being "loosely characterized" by those features. Oswald galen (talk) 02:47, 25 March 2023 (UTC)
