"From sharp, spicy flavor of salt." Is that right? (I wouldn't even describe salt as "spicy".) I'd assumed it meant that the person was crying salt tears, i.e. similar suggestion to "butthurt". Equinox ◑ 04:22, 26 June 2016 (UTC)
- That's an old usage. You are thinking of the Millennial usage of the term, which is quite different. Correctrix (talk) 02:44, 2 May 2017 (UTC)
It is interesting that #5 under adjective is still considered dated because it has been revived in recent years. In fact, I think #5 and #6 are pretty much used interchangeably on the Internet.
