@Ungoliant MMDCCLXIV: It looks like the def in the second ety needs expansion. Also, with some cites, this would be a good FWOTD, no? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 04:41, 3 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Metaknowledge: just added some cites. I remember that I couldn't find much regarding the etymology when I added the entry (greasy pages?), @Ungoliant MMDCCLXIV? – Jberkel 08:33, 3 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I’ve added some more information to the etymology and translations to Jberkel’s cites, although I’ve had some trouble translating the term itself. In the second and third citations only books are mentioned, so I translated it as used bookstore for convenience (although I’ve never seen a store that sells only used books/magazines and calls itself a sebo); the first citation mentions vinyl records, so I had to choose another translation. I went with used media store, which is accurate but doesn’t look like it is used in English. Thoughts? — Ungoliant (falai) 15:02, 3 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, guys. I don't think these exist in the anglophone world, so we're not likely to find anything that sounds better than "used media store". —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 18:06, 3 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
