Talk:self-consciousness

I think the "shyness" definition is poor. You can be shy without being self-conscious -- I think -- at least it's not the same thing. Self-consciousness to me suggests awkwardness, i.e. you are painfully conscious of everything you do and say. A shy person might just be timid. Equinox ◑ 22:02, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
