[edit]@Vitaoma, Metaknowledge I’ve made a number of changes to the entry:
- (aham), Cláudia, senta lá moved from related terms to alternative forms. They are the same term with a single minor change in word order
- removed aham from the alt form and mentioned it in the usage notes. Perhaps it would be more reasonable to list aham, Cláudia, senta lá and aham, senta lá, Cláudia and alternative forms, but they don’t seem to be individually attestable with any particular spelling
- added two English terms to the definition which I feel are close enough to the Portuguese term to warrant it. yeah, yeah captures the dismissive nature of senta lá, Cláudia and gimme a break captures its disbelieving nature
- some additions to the etymology. Notably, Xuxa’s original sentence is slightly different from the most common form of the term.
Vitaoma’s definition is very good in my opinion. Do you think it is confusing? It could be simplified or deformalised a bit, but I’m not sure what is the best way to do that. — Ungoliant (falai) 01:12, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
