Talk:shouting dictation

What is the purpose? Can we explain in the definition why one would ever dictate by shouting? Equinox ◑ 20:11, 15 January 2017 (UTC)
- It's a technique for teaching foreign languages. Students are practicing speaking, listening, and writing skills at the same time. Plus, they get to shout in the classroom, which is normally a good sign Roger the Rodger (talk) 16:19, 15 July 2021 (UTC)

- The "students" might do it one after the other (no simultaneous shouting), and (as stated in my first message) no reason was given for their doing it. Technically the "partners" in the definition should probably be plural too. Equinox ◑ 17:18, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
