I wondered that, too. I suggest that we redefine it as an adjective with a single definition, and explain the new/used subtlety in the usage note. It's possible that there is a noun also, but am failing to find genuine usages even of the adjective. The first ten pages of a search for "system pull" in Google Books contain no genuine usages in this sense. Perhaps someone could find cites to illustrate this sense. All I can find is "pull system" (for ordering). Dbfirs 23:56, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
