Computer terminals are still a thing, they just run inside windows now. If you use Linux or some other *nix based system, you're probably going to have to interact with them at some point, so one could argue people aren't moving to Linux because they have terminal phobia. — surjection??14:46, 22 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
Yeah but I looked on Google Books and this term seemed to be used around 1990. I don't think they were talking about virtual terminals, but physical computer hardware. Equinox 14:49, 22 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
