Definition needs work

Focusing on "indistinguishable" is misleading: if we ask a child "which is which?" of an obvious red and green apple, or "how could he not know which was which?!", the things might be clearly distinguishable. A more accurate def would be something like: "Of multiple things, of known kind but unknown arrangement or order: which one of them corresponds to which of the things known to be in the set." Maybe "which one of a set of things in some order or arrangement corresponds to which of the things known to be in the set". (Of course it can be either a question or just a phrase: "finding out which is which was easy".) Equinox 17:49, 10 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
